Sorry I missed that, fixed now! And I left us out because I hate judging how good/bad my own team is. I hope we'll be playing in the afternoon, another post had us as the 5th seed captains, same place we ended up last year.

Actually, you only got 2/3 of the Eh-Team. 4334 as third/fourth pick on that alliance--if someone else doesn't get to them first.

I'm not going to make any predictions. It's just a really good field as usual.

2949 PWNAGE is very honored and excited to be invited to IRI this year! We can't wait! This is our team's second time, and hopefully this time we won't have any shattered shafts like 2010...

3940 is very excited and honored to be invited, especially as a rookie team!

I have been to the event as a volunteer and spectator many times, but it will be a great new experience to attend as part of a team.

We are truly grateful to the teams that supported our application. We are thrilled, as a team, to be selected. We are also happy to represent New England, along with our friends the NUTRONS, 125.

Now we figure out how to get there. Hitchhiking, that's out.

Head's up, teams. It's time to help out IRI with the upcoming 2012 IRI Quilt. Check it out. mrs. p. needs some help here.

I'll find a photo of one of the IRI quilts from another season and post it. They are amazing and really help to raise the needed monies for the charities. Thing is, the quilt needs you. For those of you attending for the first time, you will be very impressed with the way the event planners display the back packs and showcase the quilt. They always seem to be where the teams are at the event, helping to make their presence known and felt.

This is one example of an IRI Quilt. This one is a little larger than 'puppy size'. :)

If you respond about sending a shirt for the quilt, please do so in the 2012 Quilt thread that Chris has created.

Huh...did Titanium not apply, or did they not get invited? Either way, I just realized that...guess the next time the Teeter-totter Talons tandem twin tucking tabs will ride is Cowtown Throwdown.

Does the # of people that will be at the dinner have to be exact? or should it just be an estimate. and is there a deadline to accept?

Just try to give a close estimate.

We want to be sure we have enough for everyone who stays, but don't want to have way too much either.

Extra food is donated to a homeless shelter in downtown Indy so very little is "wasted".

I don't see anything wrong with any of the picks made. #1 alliance has the hybrid king and queen and wildstangs as a second pick! 2 all michigan alliances (4 and 7) have formed. 217 (my vote for best robot not at championship) goes as a 24th pick then takes 71, the other missing robot! All this and I'm still missing a ton of amazing teams. I am a little michigan based in this but I went with teams I knew. Sorry if I didn't include your team in this, again just went with teams I knew! Also I bet all of these could triple balance!

I like those predictions for us, it would be an autonomous flurry. I could easily see that alliance putting up 42-48 in auto. And playing with pink is extremely fun! :D But something tells me bomb squad won't fall to a 3rd pick (4th robot).
