Hi,
Yes, it really is Bill Miller posting on Chief Delphi (Imagine that!).

I want to sincerely thank all of the FRC Teams and mentors for your wonderful posts and thoughtful encouragement over the past several days. I concur with many of you and strongly believe by our working together FRC did come a long way over the past 7 seasons. I believe my goal of improving communications and providing increased transparency did make FRC a better place for all. Thank you for all that you have done to help me make this possible.

Presently, I am spending some time trying to figure out where to go from here. Perhaps if there is any interest, I could return to CD sometime in the future to post some of my more memorable experences and funny stories regarding FRC behind the scenes.

I hope everyone has a wonderfully successful 2013 Season.

Welcome!

I think that there would be quite a bit of interest. We love stories, especially funny and memorable ones!

I've only been around for the past five seasons, but even then I've seen constant improvement and growth for FRC. Thank you very much for all of the work and effort you've put into the program!

Bill, there can be NO doubt that the CD community will be very interested in reading your insights -- about the past and future of FRC, about the mission of FIRST and where you see challenges, opportunities, lessons, etc. And about some of the craziness you have witnessed (esp. behind the scenes!) while leading FRC.

Thank you again Bill! It was great meeting you at Queen City and I was looking forward to more years of working together with you.

Bill,

Yesterday evening a few of us from FiM had a nice dinner, and at one point we talked about how great it was to have you at the Michigan State Championship event. Once again, thank you for spending that weekend with us, and encouraging our endeavors here. The individual conversations that we all had with you meant a lot.

Personally, I was impressed and delighted that you took time at the World Championship event to stop and greet us each by name and have a quick conversation, even though it was clear you were busy and had a lot of people to see. I would love to see you back here in Michigan if you ever want to come back to see any of our events, regular or off-season. We'll make sure to take you out for a Detroit Area Mentors Network meeting again.

Bill, thank you for all you've done. I enjoyed talking with you at the CT regional this year, as well as the various conversations we've both been part of over the last few years. Good luck with whatever you do, and definitely write that book!

Thank you for making such a difference in the lives of young people and the mentors of FIRST teams. You've certainly made a large impact and have as a result led FRC down a path setting us up for future success. Thanks for being that booster and a great leader.

Bill, it's been an honor working with you both at the Suffield Shakedown & the CT Regional. I've been in Robotics for 10 years in September & have enjoyed all those years. I have learned a lot during this time.

Thanks Bill for all the hard work to advance FIRST. I especially want to thank you for Bill's Blog which I found to be informative and helpful. I hope your next endevor makes you get up every day with a smile and question weither it's right to get paid so much for doing something so fun. :)
