Unpublished Results?

Has anyone else noticed that FIRST has not published where teams finished other than the #1 (Champs) & the #2 (Finalists)?

Usually, they publish a list of 1 through 8 of who finished where (prior to the alliance format, they used to publish 1 through 10 places).

While you can argue about whether this or that semi-finalist deserves 3rd or 4th place or what type of measure should be used to judge between them, it would at least be nice to know which teams WERE semi-finalists.

Is this going to be a new policy of FIRST? I hope not. I hope that they will decide to at least list the teams as octo-finalists, quarter-finalists, semi-finalists, finalists and champion.

As to judging between the various octo, quarter & semi finalists, I would argue that all the octo-finalists are 9th place finishers, all the quarter-finalists are 5th place finishers, and all the semi-finalists are 3rd place finishers.

Any other thoughts?

While I don't know for sure about showing where various people ranked, one thing that I did notice that is a little strange...the results from the Long Island Regional last weekend are posted at the FIRST page, but not the other two..hmmm...
