So with the event just over 10 days away I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a Team shirt exchange, I will have mostly medium and large with a few of other sizes, if anyone is interested post it on here or PM me

I will only be able to attend one day this year :( I have been recruited for a VEX competition in Philly that same weekend.

Do you guys have information of when this will be done(on-site), recorded/done live after the event day, posted online, what exactly is going to be in the show? Also, is it going to be on the roboshow website or somehwere else? This will be pretty cool to see after like each day and after going home.

We're currently planning on shooting videos all day Thursday and Friday and will do 15-30 minute "wrap up" shows after the matches end on both days. We'll also be going live with the elimination matches right after alliance selection and doing match commentary/pre-shot stories in between matches and during timeouts or field problems.

As of right now the plan is to stream the shows on the website (much like the Ri3D guys did) and then host the shows on our YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/theroboshowlive) shortly afterward. We'll make sure to keep everyone informed via our twitter feed, (@RoboShowLive) the website, and here on CD.

You guys should cover the alliance selections like ESPN covers the NFL draft. lol. Also, when you say that you will host the videos on the youtube page, does that mean after everyday or all the videos after the competition? Because that would actually be really ncie to have a complete days' worth of video and with some good commentary from people in the know about competition standards for robots.

We're planning on putting them up to YouTube the night that they're recorded.

Announcing the FIRST Alumni Happy Hour event.



Where: The brand new Bahamma Breeze in Waterford Lakes! http://www.bahamabreeze.com/location...taurantid=3045

When: Thursday evening, 9:30pm-11pm.
(enough time spend with your teams for evening activities, and then come join. Pits close at 8pm)

Who can come: Anyone that has graduated from high school.

Bahama Breeze is sponsoring Florida FIRST Alumni for this event, and will be providing a couple of free appetizers and drinks. Come early!

Enjoy the live Caribbean music throughout the event, and 1/2 off appetizers/drinks begins at 10pm.

It appears our team will not make it down this weekend. Our flights were cancelled due to snowstorms in our connection to Baltimore. :(

We are going to miss you guys an girls! It was great to be able to play on the same alliance as you last year at the south florida regional.

We are very excited and I believe competition ready in a long time. Cant wait to compete with our friends here is a link to the thread about our robot. Good luck to all and we will see you in a day.

Just a note about all the workshops on Thursday.

We have the Big Bacon Theory of Image and Marketing, Scouting with SPAM, Chairmans Chat with KRUNCH, the Central Florida Fluid Power Society will talk about pneumatics, the Robot in Three Days guys will talk about the design engineering process, All About Sensors with Mike Nicoli and and Judges Chat with former judges to answer questions about the judging process

I haven't been following the storm but is there any chance that you guys will just have a delayed arrival? I wish there was something we could do to help the northern teams.
