A Hockey themed game on Regolith. It would give both offensive and defensive teams a serious role to play.

Passing between robots would be a phenomenal feat and one that could really give an alliance a huge advantage!

Id love a hockey game! I think it would provide a good challenge and huge rewards, plus rookies could build kitbots for defense and still be sucsesful. I don't think it will happen till 2014 though because I expect the sport/non-sport trend to continue. A hockey match would be really exciting espeacially because it would be low scoring and in 2 minutes it's always great when a last second point wins a game

In the past they have made the game relate to modern day events. For example, the Lunacy game was the 40th anniversary of the moon landing and the Rebound Rumble game was during the NBA lockout. I think it would be interesting if there was an obstacle course for the minibots (alongside normal game play). The minibots would begin the course at the start of the game and would use the duration of the game to autonomously navigate the course. It would be cool to see 120 pound robots with exotic drive trains for navigating a complicated course, but to include the rookie teams along side veterans it is more plausible to do it on the minibot scale.

How about a tethered flying minibot? That way it can't go too far and the power can be supplied by the main bot. :cool:

i think it will have to do with stacking boxes. recently first has had a pattern of frc games being similar to the previous years ftc game or an older game. this year it could be both. however to see something with frisbees would be awesome. like was stated earlier though it would be hard to make sure they didnt fly out of the field
