Nope. Only previously qualified winners at your current regional can create wild cards, but all that matters is that they qualified at a previous 2013 regional. Here, look at this handy Wildcard Worksheet.

And yes, I'm assuming/hoping 1477 and 624 will do well enough to be potential wildcard creators at Alamo.

Teams 1592 and 801 are very excited about our first trip to the Lone Star State! Looking forward to hanging with you guys!

We are hosting a nondenominational worship service on Good Friday for anyone who might be interested in joining us. It will be held right after the pits close Friday night in the East Registration Room of the Convention Center. The service will last about thirty mintues, and hopefully be a great chance for some team bonding. Hope to see you there!

2468 cannot wait to get at it again. It was exciting watching Lone Star and Orlando, seeing all the teams compete that will be coming to Alamo.
This week we have Kansas City and Peachtree to watch with Bayou and Dallas coming up next week.

It will be a different feel without 118 and 148 not to mention Bomb Squad and Adambots.

We had Spring Break this week, so not many kids around.

It will also be exciting to have FTC in the house with all the FRC teams again.

Team 1592 has created a Twitter list of the teams attending the 2013 Alamo Regional.
Alamo 2013 FRC Teams Twitter List
We couldn't find Twitter accounts of all the teams attending. Please tweet us @FRC1592 if you know of a Twitter account of one of the teams that we don't have on it.

Thanks for making the list! From a quick search on Twitter, it looks like people are already talking about the #AlamoRegional .

2789 is really excited about Alamo, we can't wait! We're looking forward to having another shot at playing with the great teams we've seen at Hub City & Lone Star, as well as meeting teams coming in from outside of Texas and new rookie teams. See y'all in 7 days!

Team 1987 is really excited to make the trip down south from the Kansas City area. The 12 hour bus ride there will be with much anticipation and excitement. I know for me personally, I am looking forward to the weather. We can live without the predicted high of 99 for Saturday, but the 70s and 80s predicted highs while we are there sounds about right.

Sorry we did not add a wild card spot, but our sister team 1986 is just too much to handle. We build next to them, literally with a swinging door between us, and we could not be happier for them.

We are hoping to to add to our list of inspirational teams while in Texas, and I am sure you will not disappoint. Hopefully 1477 and 624 pull out invites to champs, as that would be several teams available to make wild card spots.

From our scouting so far, I predict some pretty high scores and fierce competition even without some of the powerhouses you mention.

Sadly, 624 missed out on qualifying at PeachTree, so they won't be generating a wildcard at Alamo. Here's my list of teams that can currently generate wildcards, and teams that could win this week and thus generate a wildcard.
Current qualified wildcard generating teams: 1429, 2468, 2789

Potentially qualifying teams (could win this week): 1477

So there will be at most 4 teams at Alamo that could create wildcard slots. There obviously COULD have been more if some people had done their jobs. (I'm looking at you 2789.) Still, those are some strong teams, so there's a good chance we'll have one or two wildcard slots generated.

We were hoping we could have brought a wild card spot to Lone Star, but as Mastonevich pointed, 1986 was quite a handful, especially when allied with Oklahoma's Cockadoodle Dominators & The Dapper Dans

Because of all of the offensive robots going to Alamo with different scoring strategies, we've been busy here in Manor concocting a "flexible" defensive mechanism that will hopefully give us several options for causing plenty of headaches & stress for high-scoring robots both in the quals and in the elims at Alamo. It's our hope that the mechanism will help us double-qualify for champs and potentially create an additional wild card spot ;)

Does anyone have video on 1987 and 1785? I mean come on team 1987 was a finalist at Kansas City! I would be most grateful if you would share it with me.

I heard pool noodles are fun to put on your robot at the last minute.

All of the GKC matches are archived at the website listed by Dodar. More-net does a fantastic job in that regard.

Well Team Titanium did spill the beans that pool noddles are very effective at blocking frisbees. Thank you both for providing me the link. I look forward to watching 1987 at work :D

Thanks. We should be back up to 100 percent on Thursday morning. Still had a few issues in Orlando so we will see what we can do. =)

I guess we proved you wrong, Kevin. ;)

On a curious side note, other than 2158 who else is competing for the Chairman's award at Alamo?
