Kansas City chose to separate out the events, but I was pretty impressed with all of the events together. As I say to my team often, "everything is a compromise".

I want to send out thanks to the crew that worked the event. It was a blast. To the winning alliance I hope you guys kick some tail in St. Louis!

It also affords the FLL kiddos to see first hand an idea of what is next.

I think it's a great idea if you can pull it off. One question I have, though, is how do you handle the folks that need to be in two or more places at once? I'm in the minority, but I'm not the only one that is both a FLL coach and a FRC mentor, and I volunteer at both types of events.

So other than perfecting a clone device, I don't have a good answer. We do make it known that this will be the schedule at the start of the FLL and FTC season. We run FLL and FTC qualifiers during the season so only those that advance will be at this event. A much smaller population has to deal with this very same situation when it comes to World Championship and World Festival.

What can I say? This was my third year attending to the Alamo regional, and as coach of the drivers team it was one hell of an experience. I wait the whole year just to be there, being a Mexican team it is hard attending to more than one regional. Going to a regional is kind of expensive for us. Luckily for us, next season we are going to have the first FRC regional in Mexico. All of you guys are invited, I just hope you know Spanish, you are going to need it in case you come.

About the regional, I'd like to congratulate everyone, Octopi for choosing us as their alliance partner. We weren't expecting to be picked since we had lots of trouble with our robot (burnt motors, cRIO issues...), but in the end we had lots of fun playing with them and our friends of ausTIN CANs. Also, congratulations to Octopi for their Rookie All Star.

To team 1987 congratulations on the RCA. And to all the other teams participating at elims, THANK YOU. Those were the most exciting matches I have ever seen at the Alamo.

To team 2468 thank you for helping us with our issues with the cRIO. Without you guys our robot would have been lost. I hope to see all you next season, expect the noisy guys of LamBot in 2014.

To all the teams attending to the championship, see you there.

Sorry if this is a little late but team 4282 would like to thank all the teams that participated at the Alamo Regional as well as any teams that were paired up with us during qualifications. I don't think we would've done half as well as we did without you guys!

We'd also like to thank teams 624 and 2468 for helping us fix a few things on our robot that allowed us to pass inspections nwn

For our second year competing in FRC we believe walking away with a 10th place finish was a huge accomplishment considering our resources and we hope to see you all again next year at the Alamo Regional! (And maybe World Championships? ;3)

(Also a personal thanks to the mentor from team 2468 who gave me the Wago tool, I actually put it on my lanyard and it has come in handy more than once now cx)
