Yes, easy!

San Diego's 6 slots were all taken in less than 20 seconds of opening. (My fingers are just not fast enough!) We're on the waitlist.

It was so quick, I was certain that we'd get in... I was shocked when the option came up "Join Waitlist".

Oh well... fingers are crossed - hope we get in!

Agreed. This was one of the easiest event registrations of the past 3-5 years!

Thanks, FIRST!

Much easier than the 1st regional registration. We got onto the Championships waitlist and into the Connecticut regional in about 90 seconds. Good thing too since CT is now full. :)

1648 just barely made it into Palmetto for our 2nd event! Man, that was quick.

I got into the "add event" page about 20 seconds before 9 AM....hmmm...

Hope you get in, but it looks like the regional is pretty popular again this year.

Yes... hummm...

This could explain it. I should have hit "refresh" BEFORE 9:00 AM!

We hope to see all of the San Diego teams again this season. San Diego has been our "2nd" for many, many years now!

If anyone encounters that let us know how that situation works out.

Not a problem at all. It seems as if the system reads us as Crossroads as our primary regional, then waitlisted for Boilermaker as a secondary.
If you look in the "What teams and events are in your area" section, we're listed ! as attending Crossroads only. Which I'm sure will resolve if the BMR waitlist clears and rookies don't bully us out :)

We learned something new.....the hard way.

When we initially signed up for Northern Lights during the 1st Event registration, we noticed that the Boilermaker regional was filling up fast.
I decided to do a "switch" in TIMS that allows you to drop and add in one easy step.
Other than the New Hampshire one, I believe Boilermaker filled up right after within the 1st 20-30 minutes. We were the 30th team out of 30 slots to barely get in.

So today, we are ready to sign up for the Northern Lights one at 6am HST.
As soon as I log on, I notice that it doesnt even show up as an event that we can add or join a waitlist.

What we realized is that once you do a "switch," the switch of the dropped event still shows in TIMS, and DOES NOT allow you to add it back later, even if you drop all of your other events.

My guess is that we would have to contact FIRST in order to remove it from our TIMS account.
Utah, here we come!

Central Washington filled within 11 minutes.... that was quick.
It doesn't hurt that we have somewhere around 100 teams in Washington.
Not many Oregon teams coming up this year to either Central or Seattle.
We are going to try and get into Spokane too for our third event.

We always enjoy playing with you guys..... see you at the workshops!!

Thank You for the warm welcome!
Our kids will be bummed once they find out.
It is certainly something we will try for the following season.

At least you get 1 Hawaii team coming.......as their lead teacher is actually from Duluth, MN.:)

Your welcome at QCR if you get bullied out.

That's our plan. (if it's not full by then ;) )

Seriously, QCR was an absolute blast, and we'd love to come back. We have some unfinished business there.

Thank you for a heads up on this issue. We will be trying to add an event on November 1st that we dropped earlier, and from what I can tell from TIMS the problem still exists. Thanks to you I have a week to get it sorted out with FIRST.
