Re: Solidworks 2012
I have some question about the form.
a) when it asks for the "Name of your product", what do we write for that b) when it asks for a "Short project description and overview", what do we write for that c) what do you write down for the "Department" Text Field |
Re: Solidworks 2012
When we applied last year, we just wrote down our product as our 2012 FRC robot. I just explained in the text that we're doing an FRC robot, we have no idea what it will look like, etc. Don't fret about it, but put a little effort into it.

Re: Solidworks 2012
Has anyone successfully run Solidworks 2012 on Windows 8?

Re: Solidworks 2012
Ordered Solidworks on Sunday, we got it in the mail today! Thanks Solidworks!
and that had to cross the border, so that's pretty darn quick timing. Just a thought though. It say's in the letter that they give us, that we may only use the software on Personnel computers, not school computer's. What I'm wondering is if a team doesn't have any computer's to use other than School computer's what would they do? This isn't a problem for us, the people who will be doing CAD have computer's, but this is just something I was wondering. Can't wait to start using the new Version! |

Re: Solidworks 2012
Quick question to the CD community
Has anyone tried SolidWorks 2012 while using an integrated Intel HD4000 graphics processor. Typically we have workstations with nice graphics cards that are supported by Solidworks. But... with Black Friday nearly here a cheap laptop that can be used for light duty CAD would be pretty useful. |
