Solidworks 2012

Is Solidworks 2012 supplied automatically to teams who were given Solidworks 2011 last year or do we have to reapply for it?

Re: Solidworks 2012

My team had Solidworks 2009 or 2010, and we never received any other version after. Also, it seems more reasonable for teams to reapply.

not automatically. You have to reapply and you receive 30 licences, CDs delivered to your address in about a week (and that's for Israel).

They'll give you a lot more than that, if you need them.

How do you apply?

Re: SolidWorks 2012

I applied a week ago, but have had no confirmation to either our sponsor or robotics email address. We usually hear from them within a week, and receive a package a week later.

Is this wait typical? Should send an email, or should I apply again? We have made use of SolidWorks for the past 2 years, so I'd think the trend would continue. We received permission to use 12 of our school's workstations, and I'm eager to get started.

I'm pretty sure we just received them in the mail without hearing back first.

Hi, I am a coach for team 2346 and would like to have my team ttry Solidworks this year but I do not know how to apply for it. What do we have to do and can we get the software before the beginning of the build season?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

YouTube works great for tutorials. If you have a server, and only need local access, go for the included PDM SolidWorks gives you. If not, then PTC Windchill works too.
