4468 will be competing as a rookie team and we are excited to see how we compare to some of the more veteran teams! Hopefully we will have a killer autonomous and full court shooting working at the competition!

Is there going to be a webcast?

I haven't seen any details if that webcast will continue this year.

Who did things go today? Any outstanding robots at this years comp? I sadly couldn't make and our team opted for the orlando regional instead of peachtree. Good luck to everyone!

654 is the best I've seen all day.

Anyone who is looking for the webcast, Georgia FIRST just posted a link on the website. It is the same link as last year, and can be found here: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/peachtree-regional-frc

624, not 654 :P 624 was doing very well out there and it looked like they were able to tune a lot of their subsystems. 4509 had a very consistent autonomous in the practice matches and they seem to be doing very well. While I didn't get to see 2415 or 1311 perform on the practice field, I'm excited to see how both of these teams perform. It seems like a lot of teams this year are fairing better than last year. Hopefully my thoughts can be confirmed in the qualification matches.

My list is
624
1648
4509
2415?
1002?

Some matches that I think will be interesting to watch:
7, 14, 25, 26, 39, 50, 65, 71.

I would add match 16 to that list.

Any chance on improving the feed? It looks like Madden 97 and sounds like a dying cat... Better than nothing, but not ideal for scouting...

Edit: it has been consistently better later in the morning, so thanks!

624 was beast last year because of their vision system. I'm pretty sure the same set of students are back doing it this year. Their driver coach from last year is also attending Georgia Tech, so she may also be back coaching.

Expect good things from them.

Competition was great today.

Personally we got off to a rocky start (First few matches our shooter decided to jam, every time), but now that it got fixed we've been steadily improving.

There were a few field issues, resulting in 2 replays.

Tomorrow should be fun.

1648, 1319, and 2415 were very impressive today. I wish the webcast quality was a little better, but that is my only complaint for Peachtree. Volunteers were amazing today with field reset and schedule management from what I observed( nothing like Lone Star Friday morning). I can't wait for elims tomorrow!

It's a shame that I couldn't make the trip and cheer for my favorite green team from the stands(but I'm with you in spirit :D ) Go 6-2-4!
