Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #436
Robotics workout regimen: Do sit-ups while drinking soda, eating snacks, and playing video games.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #436
How to get the programmers to work on the vision: Tell them that if they don't, the robot will have a 1-9 record on the field due to the drivers freezing into a position where they can't see the field.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #436
Overheard during a shop tour...
Guide: And here we have our two programmers playing their favorite practical joke on the mechanical guys. Guest: I don't understand, it looks like they are just goofing off. Guide: I agree, but the programmers insist that their, "software is compiling", whatever that means. |
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #436
you know you have skill when you are having super while programing with a game controller and everybody is convinced you are doing neither.

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #436
Haven't you ever heard, "Don't drink and drive"?

[npoe] HAHA Another 2415 pic to caption! Muahaha! #gateamsftw [/npoe]
2415's programmers were stuck, and didn't know what to do. Just then, MacGruber bursts in and says, "I can help you. Hand me those two sprites." He chugs one of them down, then holds up the other and says, "Sprite. The official soda of Team 2415." He then exits as quickly as he entered. The programmers, now more perplexed than ever, try to put together what had happened. Then the driver station exploded. |
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #436
We are working. There are pigs to destroy, temples to flee from, fruits to slice, and Om Noms to feed. We're very busy. Please go away.
[npoe]You should feel very ashamed if you have to look up any of those, except the last one. That's OK to look up. I had to.[/npoe] |
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #436
Finally, proof that everything that goes wrong is NOT the programmers fault.

And this is your brain on Dew and chips...
Another Public Service Announcement from the Management of Chief Delphi. Don't let this happen to you! |
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #436
Here we see 2415's programmers actively working. Later, when all that "work" takes it's toll, they don the sunglasses from the table and maintain their position while catching some ZZZ's...

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #436
Standard FRC team members, Build Week 5. If they had been drinking Mountain Dew all along instead of Sprite, they'd still be able to stand.

The multi-tasking abilities of 2415 members are well known. Here we see an example of a 4 multi-task event: chillin' slackin' drivin' and munchin'

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #436
It should be no surprise that their robot brochure/flyer that year included "Innovative Drive Team methods" among other things
|
Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #436
The team was a little short on time, so the drivers were told that sleep, eating, and practice would be combined into one activity. This was the result...

Re: CD's Unofficial Caption Contest #436
Student in back: *thinks* "Oh darn, I got my tongues stuck in this can. I hope no one talks to me"
Off screen student: "Hey Steve, are you off break yet. Student: $^@*$(* |
