So close! I received all but one address!

On that note, I'll be sending out address today.

Is it suggested that I say "Happy Holiday's" or "Season Greetings" rather than Merry Christmas??

Please say "Merry Christmas" on the one you send to me.

I should be getting mine out within the next couple days. I've put off doing anything with it due to finals and our last FLL qualifer. Now that it's all over I can spend some time with it.

It's a bit late to make that change. Mine went out a week ago. Hopefully, some folks will have received them by now.

For the record, all of mine say "Merry Christmas"

Also, I watched the USPS truck pull into my neighborhood, so they're on their way.

Not that I'm even sending out cards this year (I hope to next year, though!), but I feel the need to say something. (Troll! I know...DealWidIt) Ya'll critique each other's design flaws, so this is the English/History teacher's turn.

1. Writing "Xmas" is not disrespectful at all. Please see this Snopes page to understand more: http://www.snopes.com/holidays/christmas/xmasabbr.asp

2. People should send/create cards that represent what they personally celebrate. The FIRST family is a beautiful mixture of cultures, and this should be celebrated. The Kamen family is even Jewish.

Enjoy your cards! I loved doing this a couple years ago.
Happy Holidays, all.

Thank you! People (in general, not specifically ones on CD) are worried about being politically correct and get so upset about this. You have no reason to get up in arms if someone wishes you a "Happy Holiday(s)" because that is literally what it is. You're wishing someone a happy "End of year" holiday and at that, New Years is a holiday. You shouldn't feel obligated to cater your well-wishes to someone. I think it's a safe assumption that unless someone said something DIRECTLY targeting your chosen holiday, you can assume that someone meant you no insult.

Even if your family chooses to celebrate Festivus (although you may be advised to send it in a cardboard box)

Moral to the story: If somebody chooses to be offended by your well-wishes, that's their problem.

Color me confused - Ken Gourley signed up three times, and I don't see his address in the listing. Did I miss something?
