Unfortunately Mrs. Sisk and I will not be able to make it this year.
We are busy with getting the IE Regional running. We will definitely miss inspecting and judging all the awesome teams at the Phoenix regional. Definitely one of our favorite regionals. |

Team rankings at the end of the day today. I don't quite know how we got here, but I don't mind. FTA said the school internet has a port blocked, so they can't upload match info to usfirst

Re: 2013 Phoenix Regional
The rankings and schedule finally got uploaded during awards.

Thanks! I forgot to check it when we were eating dinner.
I took pictures of most of the robots Friday morning. Here they are. Sorry it's not easy to see them all at once... http://selectric.org/nerds/2013AZrobots/ |

Re: 2013 Phoenix Regional
That was a crazy regional.
We would like to thank 60 and 2839 for a hectic ride into the finals. It was awesome to compete against 1726, 842, and 3944. |
Re: 2013 Phoenix Regional
Congrats to the winning alliance!
1726, you've continued the legacy of building simple bots that can outscore anything else on the field. 842, your robot is the most amazing in recent memory. The climb is beautiful, and the whole package is nothing short of jaw dropping. 3944, I don't know how you weren't seeded much higher, you proved to be one of the most effective all around robots on the field. Thank you to teams 1290 and 1165, we had a good run and it was an honor to be allied with you. The semi finals are certainly nothing to sneeze at, and I can't wait to catch up with you guys next year. This was an amazing regional, with a remarkably deep field. I can't remember eliminations at AZ being this exciting. I'm looking forward to next year! |
Re: 2013 Phoenix Regional
Thanks Gary! It would have been really cool for an all Forbs alliance! maybe next year. I wonder if that would be a FIRST record of some kind.........
