So just to be clear since peach alliance and michigan did not make new picks since week 1 events are now locked they are down a team?

The rule is that any empty spots will be filled by a random team, unless there are no more random teams available.

Can I just make a new random list of who is left or do I have to go through the season long list and find the original random list?

If the event had not started, I would say yes--it's a missing team, not a "I want to switch just because". Unfortunately for this request, the event is now running. You will get a team in that slot, don't worry about that. However, that team will be a random team.
