C-Rio problem

Hello,

Today we were teaching one of the programming students how to image the c-rio and upload code. (First time it has ever been done in java)
We imaged it with the image version 49 for 2012 and rebooted the robot at this point we got a connection error for the OTA ( at this point i dont have the exact error message) we reimaged the crio restarted the computer and crio and attempted again to upload code but this time the crio would not connect to the computer ( the cable was plugged in and the link light (green) was on but the status light (yellow) was not even blinking)

Should i do a reset on the crio and how would i do so some documentation would be helpful

Thanks in advance

Re: C-Rio problem

I'm not sure if this is the same as your problem, but we had a problem connecting to the cRIO and it turned out that the computer had the wrong static IP. I changed it to 10.te.am.5 and it worked.

We found the problem and it was that the drivers for ethernet were bad

Re: C-Rio problem

I agree i think it is a IP problem, make sure when you imaged the cRIO that you put the Team Number in it. If you did this correctly the IP of the cRIO will be 10.TE.AM.2 and the IP u put in the computer will be 10.TE.AM.5

When you do this Netbeans should find it, if not go into NetBeans and goto the Options for the FIRST Plugin and make sure your team Number is set on that. :D

Could you be more descriptive? Does it show the same symptoms as before, or is it doing something different?

Yes the same symptoms
