On a more serious note, I second this motion. It offers a lot amount of design flexibility.

Usually you must contact RC directly. The site is sometimes incorrect and he offers other parts(i.e we got 254-esque WCD bearing blocks that are/were never listed on the website)

Just out of curiosity..... Does the part not being listed on the website, and only being available by direct contact, disqualify it as COTS?

I know we will most likely be having some custom wheels made by RC. So, how would those be handled on the BOM?

Until RC gets them going, Martin is the go to place for these pinions.

If you're paying for them you'd have to list the fair market value of the materials and labor that went into making them.

I considered that option but wasn't sure if galling would be an issue when mixing VexPro stuff with steel gears. Did anybody test that?

We ran them all season, lots of time on practice bot, no issue.

That's great to know. Thanks.

All HEX VersaHubs in Inventory now have the VersaKeys and HEX aligned.

Well, those are some cute little mecanum wheels. Maybe it's VexPro previews time.

Are those machined from metal stock now?

Oh, as an aside, there was some question last year about how durable the VexPro mecanum wheels would turn out to be. At this point I can state that we used them aggressively all season and they've held up fantastically well.

They were metal last year as well.

The VersaHubs for mounting a gear/sprocket to a wheel were plastic, but all the live axle hubs are metal.

There is something hidden in Aren's picture too. It's killing me that no one has noticed it yet.

Is it stuff in the background, like how this appears to be on a VEX field?
