The VersaHubs for mounting a gear/sprocket to a wheel were plastic, but all the live axle hubs are metal.

There is something hidden in Aren's picture too. It's killing me that no one has noticed it yet.

The Hamster ball?
Please say that isn't a GAME HINT!!!

That's an awesome tiny mecanum wheel, seems perfect for compact octacanum modules.

Thank you. I was really surprised no one noticed it faster. It was the first thing I saw.

Ah, I never saw any of the VersaHubs up close. I only saw the VersaWheel first hand. Thanks for the info.

I am curious as to what is up with the smaller mecanum wheel. Could see some compact drives next season.

But what about when you need that extra bit of traction? I'm thinking octocanum swerve might be necessary.

But West Coast Drives cantilever the wheel, and they're like the bestest drivetrain ever. Everyone should have it like that.

You sure?

For a real question, I was wondering if the bearing issues from 2013 were ever resolved - I didn't get to follow the news on those last season. If so, is there an even larger inventory of hex bearings for 2014?
