First Choice 2013

If you log into the sample account at AndyMark's website you can see the costs associated with items in preparation for Monday. I know I saw the total number of points teams were given last year posted this fall but have lost track of the number, anybody have it handy?

Happy wishlist building this weekend everyone.

I think was a 100 last year, but unsure what it is this year.

100 looks reasonable for this year again.

Re: First Choice 2013

It was 100 credits. Depending on your list that may or may not be enough for what some teams what to get. Speaking for my team only it wouldn't be enough but if its only 100 credits we would have to redo our list that day. If i remember correct too some items last yr were only like 1 or 2 credits as this year it looks like the lowest is 4 or 5 credits. That could mean we may be getting more credits or just have to get only what is really needed.

I sure wish they'd tell us the number of credits in advance, it would make things significantly easier.

How many points are you all planning on saving for items that will be added post-kickoff?

Last year were there any parts added post-kickoff that could not be purchased elsewhere? I can't remember.

I remember purchasing a bunch of basketballs separately since there was a limit of 2 anyway (I believe I'm remembering that correctly).

I guess a related question is: last year were there any parts added post-kickoff that were a way better deal on FIRST Choice.

FIRST Choice wasn't released until kickoff in previous years.

Wow my memory is foggy. In that case, what are people thinking in terms of how many credits to spend now vs. save? (would help if we knew how many we got :P)

It appears mine is just as bad. I think a 67/33 split might be good for a starting point.

Also: as far as everyone knows, is a PO (i.e. from Boeing Grant) in STIMS considered "paid" when it comes to receiving access to the FIRST Choice password?

Could someone do me a favor and post a screen shot of the pages with the credit numbers? I don't have the STIMS logon handy.

EDIT: Didn't see the AndyMark test account.
