Nate, My son Derek's birthday is June 9, 1985. Oh and by the way mine is June 9 1951 (real old). And oh by the way, when Derek was being delivered I told the Dr. thanks for the nice birthday present, his reply
was 'it's your birthday too, today is my birthday, I was just called away from my birthday party to come deliver this baby!' It's TRUE !

2 weeks after St. Paddy's Day (which was my original due date)
March 31st, 1982- a proud graduate of the class of 2000. Trust me, will all of these graduation preparations we have going on right now, they are wishing that I hadn't happened :)

12/23/1961 -- almost a Christmas baby.

By the way, I love that commercial where a youngish looking female shopper gets carded trying to buy beer. As she tosses back her hair covering her face, a close-up reveals that she is obviously not the highschool aged kid she appeared from afar. The announcer then says something about 'making a 35 year old's day' as the camera zooms in on her driver's license. The thing that surprised me the first time I saw this commercial was, 'Hey, that old hag was born AFTER I was! ;-)' My second thought was, 'Oh yeah, I guess I AM older than 35 years old'

Ah well...

My life has been nothing a fantastic ride where I have only grown happier and happier with my lot in life.

Getting older means getting better and better as I far as I can tell.

Here's to long life!
