KoP 2012/2013?
 

Two questions: Do you know if there will be a 2013 Kit of Parts download for Inventor 2013 and when it will be ready (if at all)? Also, I was on the FIRST page at the Autodesk site and I could not access the 2012 Kit of Parts- I got a server error. Has it been taken down?

Last year, the KoP CAD library was released by PTC using their Creo software, which they also provided to teams. I assume this will be the same for 2013, since I haven't heard anything about them pulling their sponsorship. I used Inventor and had no problem converting the files to a format I could use(it was done automatically upon opening each file). I wanted to let everyone know that Autodesk has a 2013 kit of parts ready and will have the kit of parts posted after the season kick off. Until then we are unable to share any information about the parts.

Just wanted to let everyone know the kit of parts is coming.

All,

The Autodesk Inventor KOP for 2013 will be available on Monday the 7th of January. Check in before midday to download the 2013 KOP and the Field. I will also provide STEP files for teams using a previous version of Inventor or another CAD package that has not provided a KOP or Field model.
