Organizing Volunteers
 

Wanted to share a nice resource for organizing volunteers. Team 1625 asks parents to bring meals to the shop 2x during build season and to help out in the shop 4-5x during build.

A friend who organizes sports tournaments told me about SignUp Genius! (http://www.signupgenius.com). It lets us set up the days and times we need help, email our parents, and then lets them sign up for the time. Our volunteers get an email and/or text reminder 2 days before.

It's already saved me a bunch of time this season and our parents seem to appreciate how easy it is. You can see our sign ups at here.

I don't have any interest in the site other than sharing the details if it will help someone else with robotics or other volunteer organization.
