Song for crashing montage
Okay, so, inevitably, robots are going to fall, hard and fast. Some will be quite destructive -- people are going to get them on video, and SOMEONE is going to make a montage. Lots of crying, cringing, and "OOOOOHs" will ensue. It'll be a great highlight to the season.
So.. the most important question of all -- what song would you put in the montage? :) |

Kissed by a rose, to pay homage to a terrible hint.
Really, new motors, thats it? |

Of course....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ogot...tu.be&t=14m30s
Another natural...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouHkL7u9qLw (language alert) For a (much) more somber tone... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_6pxRAKwsE Or even http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-Xrlf3taEo Finally, any fall reminds me of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2AZH4FeGsc The agony of defeat part. :) |
Re: Song for crashing montage
I'd propose Mick Foley's old ring music, aptly titled "Wreck".

Re: Song for crashing montage
How about "Tick Tick Boom" by the Hives?
|
Re: Song for crashing montage
Put the video at a faster than normal speed and just use Yakety Sax.
:D |
Re: Song for crashing montage
The Anvil Chorus, naturally.
|
Re: Song for crashing montage
I am going to go back 133 years and say 1812 Overture. The booming cannons could be timed for great effect.
|
Re: Song for crashing montage
I second the vote for Yakety Sax. Because Yakety Sax.

Quote:
Yakety Sax matches last years bridge mayhem better than what I'm expecting to see this year, while the Anvil Chorus is the go-to music for many heavy objects falling from a height. |
Re: Song for crashing montage
Well, this seems like the obvious choice. There's even this cheesy "scientific" version that you could use, if you wanted.
The way I imagine it is starting out with a slow motion shot of the robot climbing, timed so that the robot begins to fall right when he says "gravity" for the first time. |
Re: Song for crashing montage
What about the theme song from dead island?
