Re: Frc 2013 driver station problem
Hey, thanks for the quick response!!! :-)
I noticed there was a started clicking around the browser menu options and then noticed a "diagnose" link. I clicked it and it tried to get me connected to the internet and then it finally popped, spewed an error on the screen, and then gave me back my Start menu! So I was finally able to logoff the driver account and logon to the developer account. They've disabled Ctrl-Alt-Del in the driver account, so that's why I was freaking out! I downloaded the run-time on another machine and copied it to the classmate. It's now 5% Complete -- looks like this could take awhile. I'm also guessing that I'm going to need to re-install the updates after this has completed, but I'll first try running the driver station from within the developer account (if it doesn't ask me to re-start first like it did after I installed the updates). I liked the new/improved control system documentation this year, and I was happy when I read that all I needed to do was run the updates on the classmate, but I guess that part of the documentation wasn't quite right. :-( Thanks again for the assistance and calming words! |

Re: Frc 2013 driver station problem
The power switch worked, but every time we turn the classmate on, it automatically logs onto the driver account.
We're all up and running now. Off to the school to pack the truck! Thanks again! Dave |
