Inside Frame Perimeter?

According to the rules, your robot is allowed a maximum perimeter of 112 inches. I was wondering if this rule also counts the inside perimeter of a frame that "indents" into your robot? As in, if your robot has a frame like an "H", does the 112 inches also count towards your frame bending into your robot (the inside parts of the "H")?

Thanks.
