Setting Up my laptop
 

Hi, I am currently trying to set up my laptop (which will be used to program and control the robot) for the FRC 2013 season.

Being a second year team, do I need to install the new driver station software? I believe that it does need to be updated to the 2013 Driver station software, but I do not see a key in the KOP to install the new software.

What should I do?

--Also, what else do I need to install (besides the Java plugins updates, the new Netbeans, etc. etc.)

You will need to install the LabView utilities from the disk you received in your KOP, and also download/install the 2013 driverstation.

I would also uninstall the 2012 software before installing the new. Quite a few teams seem to be having issues with the driverstation not working properly without doing so first.
