E09 Classmate Labview Installation Problem
Hey guys,
I've ran into a bit of a problem trying to install labview onto our E09 classmate. Because it is not required to reimage the classmate this year, I just uninstalled labview from last year, and tried to install the new version. The problem I ran into is that the hard drive runs out of space. After uninstalling last year's labview in addition to useless programs, the hard drive had just about 3.3 gigabytes of free space. My next move was to try reimaging the classmate. The only memory disk I had big enough for this was a 16gb micro sd card that goes into a usb adapter. The problem I got with this was an error in RMPrep stating that the image files could not be extracted. I'm not sure if it was because I was using a microsd card in a usb adapter. I've used this method before for installing windows on other computers without optical disc drives. Any help? What are you guys doing to get labview to fully install on your classmates with the small hard drive space? Thanks in advance. |

If you have the imaging tool and don't have files you want to maintain, the imaging is actually the fastest way to get a copy of LV on the E09.

I just can't get the image to extract to my microsd card to let me reimage the E09. |
Re: E09 Classmate Labview Installation Problem
Is the image file you downloaded 5.11GB?
It could be a corrupted zip. |

We have also had trouble with running out of space on our E09. I'm going to try reimaging at our meeting tomorrow.
