Options for installing Driver Station on Classmate

Hi Everyone:

Is there an option for a online download of the National Instruments disk that came with the KOP without purchasing an external USB? Obviously the Classmate does not have a USB DVD drive and I am trying to install the Driver Station on the Classmate. Is their some other option besides me buying a DVD drive? I can attempt to clone the disc with my personal laptop, but that would be a last option for us.

Thanks!

Just copy the DVD contents onto a USB stick.

Or you could reimage the classmate: http://wpilib.screenstepslive.com/s/...image-download

Cool, thanks. Was not sure if NI had put copyright restrictions/encryptions on the DVD.

EDIT: after re reading your post, it appears that the Classmate image on my USB drive did not have the Driver Station on it....unless I am missing--it is there a specific link for it anywhere in the Start Menu?

Sorry for my "noobness"!!

The Kit DVD is just the start.
Now you need to apply the Updates on this page: http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprogr...ical-Resources

LabVIEW Utilities Update (required for all Teams)
LabVIEW Updates (only for Teams programming in LabVIEW)
2013 Driver Station from NI
2013 FRC Bridge Configuration Utility (use this to set up your Wireless Bridge for use at home)

P.S.
and for good measure:
LabVIEW 2012 (32-bit) f5 Patch
