Climbing Early!?

My question for everyone is if you can begin climbing the pyramid before the last 30 seconds of the match. I have yet to find a rule on this and if someone knows of a rule somewhere, please explain and inform me. Thank you.

You can climb at any time, according to the Q and A.

Thank you guys!! My team thanks you. We weren't sure and do not want the penalty if we weren't allowed to climb early.

The real question is, how much is the time spent climbing worth to you in terms of other robot capability?

You are exactly right. One of the things we had to take into consideration is our level of skill and resources vs. those of the true powerhouse teams that are attending our regional. Sometimes a solid utility bot that can perform one of the challenge tasks extremely well is a valuable asset to an alliance when you get down to the nitty gritty...
