Help: Looking for Big Gas Springs

Hi CD,

I'm looking for very long skinny gas springs. I need something no larger than .875" dia with at least a 20" stroke. 80 lb force would be ideal, but anything as low as 50 would probably work.

I know they are out there. 1717 must have had about 20" of stroke.

McMaster appears to have exactly what you want.

Try autoparts stores - hatch lift shocks. I know around here they usually have racks of them in stock and in most cases for far less than McMaster.
