Vex Pro Tread Attachment
 

We are about to mount tread to our brand new vexpro traction wheels. But before we just drill into them we wanted to see if anyone had already tried this and wouldn't mind sharing your process.

The biggest thing we run into is the ridges in the wheel. It appears optimal to attach the tread in the smaller diameter portion of the wheels. However, there isn't enough space for us to feel comfortable putting 4 rivets in one indent.

Any advice or tips greatly appreciated,

What our students did was press the thread onto the wheels by hand and used 1/8" in rivet in a zig zag pattern all the way around the wheel, it works great, we did this last year on our plaction wheels and never had any issues.
