how to create a frc crio project?

i have been looking for the past two weeks to find out how to start one but i have no idea with the new ui for labview, where do i go from here i am completely lost, i have downloaded all three tools and installed them, i have tried creating projects but none of them contain the main.vi with the begin, teleop, and finish.vi's

Are you sure you installed all of the utilities correctly?? The UI looks like this before installing all of that. After installing the utilities, the UI changes to last year's look.

That screen gets overridden by the LabVIEW update. Please look on disk here

C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2012\ProjectTemplates\FRC Templates

Leave out the (x86) if you are 32 bit.

If you do not have the FRC Templates directory and in that an Arcade and such, then the LabVIEW update has not been installed correctly. There have been some failed installs due to a .NET4 issue with something already on computers. I don't have the details, but would urge you to contact NI technical support via email or 866-511-6285 and let them help you.

A couple suggestions I'll give are to right-click on the update's setup program and Run as Administrator. And make sure you reboot after the install.

I found the template area. Do I have the required files?

i tried re-installing all the updates and i got labbview to work. Thank you for the suggestions:)
