are their any teams in sweetwater TX. I have a friend who is very interested in robotics and i thought it would be nice if she could see whats is actually like and maybe even join if it's not to lat in the season

You can see who might be closest.
I don't see anyone directly in Sweetwater.

Team 3366 - The plowbots are located in Roscoe, just a few miles west of Sweetwater. I encourage you to take the two mile drive and have a look see at their FRC program.

I like Sweatwater as a name for a town better than Sweetwater.
