When is there not? Its New York, I'm sure there will be. There usually is a camera guy up on a cherry-picker right behind the bleachers filming the field.

Please keep in mind as Cherrie Fleisher-Strauss (HI!) notified us,

All female (sorry boys) students and mentors are invited to the NCWIT Women's Networking Reception on Thursday afternoon.

The event is hosted by the National Center for Women & IT (NCWIT) & Bloomberg and takes place at the NYC FIRST Robotics Regional Competition on Thursday, March 7 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This is your opportunity to network with lots of other young women in technology, including those in college and working professionals, and learn about opportunities, internships and scholarships available through the NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Program. You’ve worked hard to get here, so take a break on them! There will be food, music, networking opportunities and door prizes!

Attendees MUST RSVP, so please go to: http://ncwitaspirationsnyc2013.eventbrite.com/ to RSVP and for more information about the event.

We should try and get it recorded this year. I know I personally love looking back at our matches and can't imagine other NYC teams don't.

Plan some time to visit the College & Career Fair at the NYC Regional. There is a list of participating schools, sponsor companies & associations on our website: http://www.nycfirst.org/nycfirst-eve...ge-career-expo

This is true, our team enjoys going back and watching matches to see what we did so well, as well as what we could have improved on. I'll see if its possible to make this happen at the same time as running the live stream.
Just 3 more days! Hope everyone is as excited as we are.

In general you should always ask teams for help when you need it, especially teams that are doing well and don't have a lot to fix, they are always happy to help. 375 has always been a fantastic option for this at NYC and Billy knows some stuff I guess. I hope everyone at NYC has gone over the inspection checklist on their robot and knows what to expect when they go through inspection.

Not to mention have all your forms ready...it'll save so much time during registration. Trust me, with 65 teams to flag down, it can get a bit crowded around the Pit Admin desk and people will lose their temper.

Team 884 is excited to be attending NYC for the first time. Just wanted to double check that we are allowed to drop off our robot Wednesday night between 6:00pm-8:00pm. Can someone confirm that for me? Thanks and good luck everyone. See you two days!!!!!
