Re: Problem Imaging 8-slot cRIO
Anyone still having issues with the imaging tool should feel free to contact NI technical support. The number and email info is on the Getting Started screen. You can also go to ni.com/frc.

Re: Problem Imaging 8-slot cRIO
Hey, here's a thought. If a 4-slot cRIO works okay but an 8-slot one fails, it might be a power issue. What is the cRIO power input connected to?

Re: Problem Imaging 8-slot cRIO
The power is fine, i checked and the cRIO is receiving the full 24V required, also i did check the IPv4 thing and it is correctly configured... i wish it wasn't and that the problem was that simple XD...
and about the 2012 imaging tool... i thought about trying that out... but it was on my personal computer, so i have already re-installed everything (wanted to give Gentoo a try... XD), do you know where i can find it... i don't have the 2012 labview install disk anymore, although it should be able to work with the new version just fine shouldn't it? |
Re: Problem Imaging 8-slot cRIO
Figured it out, someone had attached to port 2 instead of 1

Re: Problem Imaging 8-slot cRIO
Last year we noticed that the slots were changed to match up with the 4 slot cRIO. Also we found that the switches on/off was a bit misleading. So here is what worked on our 8 slot this year.
Switches from the outside edge of cRIO...Are they up/ or pushed down??? All these are the outside edge of each switch... SafeMode-down Console Out-down IP Reset-down No App-UP User1-down No FPGA-down Hope this helps some teams on 8-slot... 2625 Mentor... |
