Very cool drivetrain. In regard to your ground clearance, are you planning on driving over frisbees or pushing them out of the way?

At moderate speeds this drivetrain will push them around.

Very clean simple frame, I like it.

Did you do any testing with 8 tractions wheels to determine the need for omni's on the corners? curious with the wide aspect ratio robot.

How on earth do you manage to get that much maneuverability out of your custom wheels year to year? It's almost as if they're secretly omni-wheels and the "tread" is in fact tiny rollers...

No testing on this particular chassis, but we know from experience the aspect ratio that would yield would not provide the turn resistance we want. We like it somewhere between a drop-center 6 and a square 4.
