IR ringlight

we're trying to find an IR ringlight for our vision; don't seem to be commericially available anymore (Newark shows a range of Optek's, but they seem to be discontinued). Any ideas for an (economical) source?

Re: IR ringlight

Why do you want to use IR? The Axis cameras have filters to reduce their sensitivity to infrared light.

Re: IR ringlight

we've seen posts on CD indicating that going monochrome/IR has the possibility to cut down on seeing random things, wanted to run an experiment. That reminds me I need to grab a visible light filter for the front of the Axis, and see how sensitive to IR it actually is....
