[FTC]: "Ring It Up" scoring clarification

So let's say we score three rings across the middle row of pegs.

10+10+10 = 30 + 30(line bonus) = 60

Now what if we can score six rings across the middle row of pegs, basically double-scoring each peg. Does that score for 120, or 90? I guess: does the line bonus score twice because we technically have two "lines" of rings?

10+10+10+10+10+10 = 60 + 60(line bonus x2) = 120
or
10+10+10+10+10+10 = 60 + 30(line bonus) = 90

We haven't competed yet, so I'm not quite sure exactly how that would be scored. I did look through the Q&A, but didn't see anything similar asked or answered.

(Finally got a Chief Delphi account)

You only get one line bonus if you "own" three rings in a row, regardless of how many rings you have on it. So 2 rings on each of the middle row pegs yields 20+20+20 + 30(line bonus) = 90 points.

And keep in mind that you need to "own" the peg by having the same # of rings as your opponent or more. So in the above scenario, if your opponent comes along and puts 3 of their rings on any one of those pegs, you no longer "own" the peg and you would lose the line bonus.

If there's a tie on a particular peg (e.g., each team has 2 rings), then both teams own the peg and both teams can use that peg for line bonus purposes.

Cheers,
Bill
