Can the frame perimeter have structural gaps

Hello Delphi forums, we had a question about section RO2, we were wondering if the perimeter of the robot can have structural gaps in the frame or if it has to be continuous.
Thank you

Look at Figure 4-2 rule R22 in the Game Manual.

Yes u can. We have a gap in our frame which allows us to follow bumper constraints and have a 28" by 38" robot

You should rethink that. Your frame perimeter is defined by a string wrapped around the exterior vertexes of your frame, not the length of the frame members.

I think he was joking.

Replies like this one are not GP and cast a long shadow over all the answers posted on this forum. Responses should only be made if they are definitive and a positive contribution, otherwise they are worthless and only create noise!
