Wiring two motors to one controller

Since R52 allows for the use of two AE235100-0610 (Denso Motor's) on one speed controller, I was wondering how people are wiring this configuration up on their robots? I have read through the rules and it does not appear to be specified explicitly anywhere. If the motors are about six feet (cable wise) from the controller, would it be acceptable to run one set of conductors to the first motor and then tap off from the first one in parallel to the second? I can't find any rules prohibiting this so I would assume it is legal.

As long as you're using wire that's the same gauge or thicker than the wire supplying the speed controller, I think that'd be fine. Then your wire is still protected by the breaker as intended, you just have an unorthodox load at the end of the wire.

When in doubt, Q&A. It's the only way to get an official answer.
