Re: Team 885 frisbee pickup
Great job, I like how steep of an angle the frisbee gets to, you can attain lots of height that way!

Re: Team 885 frisbee pickup
Wow! Where were you able to buy your polyweb from?
|
Re: Team 885 frisbee pickup
does it work with upside-down frisbees?
|
Re: Team 885 frisbee pickup
Looks simple and therefore effective!
Are you going to shoot, or dump? |
Re: Team 885 frisbee pickup
Nice! Like mentioned previously, does this work with upside-down frisbees?
|
Re: Team 885 frisbee pickup
That will probably dump it into a hopper of some sort. From there, it will probably go into their shooter. But I could be wrong.

Re: Team 885 frisbee pickup
Nice! What is that orange strip made of? It's hard for me to tell. Also are you going to be mounting your motor where the drill was or are you going to do a pulley system or something else with the motor further down?

Re: Team 885 frisbee pickup
This design can not pick up upside down frisbees, we are talking about some sort of sensor to spit them back out. The polycord is from mcMaster here is some more info on it very cool stuff to work with. How many other teams are looking to pick up from the ground?

Here is the updated version of our pickup system on our robot. We still have a bit of tweaking to do.
