Can't Flash cRIO

We have a corrupted cRIO. It will not accept code upload, formatting, or imaging. It is a 4-slot model, and the switches on the imaging software will not switch. This is stopping us from taking it out of safe mode. When we try to format with Java, it gives us the option to format in safe mode, but that just puts it onto a format screen that just stays there. We left it overnight with no change. This was working yesterday, and the robot was moving. Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix this corruption?

What does the "format screen" say? Can you post a picture of what the Imaging Tool is showing before you click Apply, and then another when you're seeing the problem?

Re: Can't Flash cRIO

Thank you for such a quick reply. I went to format the cRIO and take a screen shot, but it worked... and the worst part is I don't know why. Now it will allow me to flash it and I can ping it, but now it does not let me upload code to it. the error is "waiting to connect to ota command server". this form http://forums.usfirst.org/showthread.php?t=13995 says that the image and the software need to be updated, but they are all up to date.

Re: Can't Flash cRIO

What revision of the image did you format the cRIO with?

Re: Can't Flash cRIO

We are using the latest revision. We came together today and found that the status light was blinking. When we looked it up, we found that it meant that the format had been interrupted. We connected the cRIO to a wall wort instead of the battery and formatted it. It appears to be working now, and we are able to upload code and get the robot to move. Thank you for you help. We are glad that there are people like you to help use with our problems.
