Using JB Weld to Build the Robot
Does anyone have any experience using JB Weld Epoxy (or other adhesive) to build the robot? Wasn't planning on using for structural members but would it work for building up the ramp to collect the discs from the feeder slot?
I know it would be better to bolt or rivet but I'm curioius if anyone has tried it. |
Re: Using JB Weld to Build the Robot
Having not seen what you are trying to make, my first thought would be no. If you were to build a loosely supported ramp for human feeding, you should probably get some thin sheet metal, bend it the way you want and bolt it into place. I've always treated jb weld like super glue, and will continue to do so. If it's not an actual weld, it's not going to fool me imo.
