E4P encoder scale

Does anyone know if there is a set scale somewhere for the E4P encoder? We have it hooked up to an Andymark gearbox with a CIM motor, and we would like to know if we have to measure the correlation between time spinning, rate of rotation, and number of rotations?

Re: E4P encoder scale

If it has a "360" in its part number, it has 360 counts per revolution. If it has "250" twice, it has 250 counts per revolution. (The other 250 means it's meant to fit a quarter-inch shaft.)

Some people prefer the term "cycles" instead of "counts".

US digital has the model number breakdown nicely laid out here (lower left, under "Purchasing").
