independent autonomous + Kinect integration?

Although somewhat early in the learning curve, autonomous is my focus for the bot, and I'm subjecting a way to move motors independently, through jaguar controls.

Is there a way to select which autonomous code runs based on a setting on classmate, controls, or other (i.e. 2 totally independent programs, with the ability to select which one right before starting?)

Secondly, I'm wondering if the kinect sensor is becoming a decently possible and useful addition (and, if late, it would be worth it to attempt to make it possible in the final run, sparing testing and a scrimmage or two).

This is my first post to CD, and I appreciate tips, tricks, and everything to push forward. I am a first year of a small team, and this also helps future projects, thank you. In advance, sorry for any confusing questions or problems.

Using the SmartDashboard, you can put a SendableChooser to the smart dashboard that holds a list of autonomous commands. Then you get the selected value and run that command.

That technique works pretty well and is documented here:

I would highly recommend against using the Kinect on the robot this late in the game. Half the battle is getting an offboard processor powered and booting in a good enough amount of time. Definitely a great offseason project to add to your robot for an offseason event.
