Getting bimba cylinders

Hey guys,

We are ordering a non-rotating(hex shaft) cylinder from BIMBA, and its promised ship date is 2/14.

Is there any way we can get it sooner? Alternative sites or shops? We live in Austin, Texas.

You could try McMaster-Carr. We usually get stuff in a day or two, but we are close by. You would have to check your lead time for Austin, Texas, but they have a huge assortment of pneumatics.

Where did you hear this guaranteed ship date? We never got a confirmation email from Bimba and we ordered two weeks ago. I'm getting a bit nervous.

I can't find hex shaft (non rotating) on McMaster, have you ever gotten those there?

You can see the ship date when you add the item to the cart.

Although the free FIRST ones are 7-10 days to get shipped (Seen near the bottom of the page)

They're ordering from the Bimba online store and paying for the cylinders. If you're laying out cash money for cylinders, Bimba treats you better.

I think you should have gotten a confirmation or something from Bimba for your free ones. Our purchasing specialist was able to get in touch with bimba and get updates on when our cylinders shipped and all. You might get in touch with them and see if they can help you out.

Alternatively, I think just about any standard cylinder you can configure is in stock and would ship out same or next day. if you're really in a bind you might just order some cylinders and pay for them.

Ours arrived after 9 days. Our confirmation email went to the spam folder.. I'd check there to see if that's where it resides.

Ahh, I found it in my spam filter as well. I had thought that gmail searched inside of it. the email said projected 7-10 days for delivery, and right now we're at 22. I guess it's a waiting game.

I don't recall ever getting a confirmation email.

Also we're closer to Tijuana than many other teams, so that might have sped up our delivery by a few days.
