Hello everyone!
Justin and I would like to present our newest idea! We are planning that on Friday, February 22, at 9PM Eastern, Mike and Justin in the Morning will be hosting our first annual black tie affair, "Premiere Night"!

Our goal for Premiere Night is to have teams send us their "2013 Robot Release Videos", and we'll have an all night party of watching team's 2013 robots and then talking about them, all live on the air!

For your team's video to be eligible to be shown on Premiere Night:

• Your team's robot release video must not have been released in any other fashion yet (YouTube, Chief Delphi, etc). We want everyone to be seeing your team's robot for the first time

• If your team has released small teasers on the web, that's ok, your release video can still be shown on Premiere Night.

We will show any, and all team's videos! If your team is interested in participating in Premiere Night, please send us an email at mikeandjustinitm@gmail.com! You will need to send us the file directly, so we can upload it to our livestream account and have it ready for the show.

We can't tell you how excited we are about this, and we hope you guys get behind this as much as we are! This has potential to be one of the funnest nights of the season so far!

As always, we will be live at www.livestream.com/mikeandjustinitm on the 22nd.

Such a good idea, I just hope teams can pump out there videos in time, they won't have a weekend to do it.

A question, can the video be shown on the school's closed circuit broadcast channel first but not to any other FIRSTers?

i showed you guys a picture of our robot so far the other night, sure hope that doesn't count cause I REALLY want to do this with our teams video :D

Yeah, that could be an issue.

Just curious, why not on the Wednesday before week 1?

Yeah we thought about doing that, but a lot of teams release their videos pretty soon after build season ends. So we didn't want to make teams wait that long. Hopefully teams can crank their videos out by Friday. I've already started working on our teams...

This seems like a really interesting idea.

I'll ask my team what they think about it and get back to you. You really need to get 118/148/16 on board for it though. Hopefully, one of them will pop into this thread.
