Very avante-garde. I like it.

I especially like the abstract air tank mounts.

Very creative use of wire and pneumatic tubing as part of your frame perimeter, I would have never thought of that.

We figured suspending the speed controllers with the wires was an innovative method of reducing failure due to vibrations

Tell me you guys have a feeding system. I wanna see a repeat of the Rube Goldberg autonomous that we pulled off at Lone Star last year.

Better yet, just leave an open top on your hopper and have someone else fire frisbees into it! It can't possibly go wrong.

Maybe it's a good thing we did South Florida this year instead of Peachtree.....

They're not telling us that mass of wires is sentient, malevolent, and prepared to mercilessly tangle opponents.

Or robot inspectors. Or unwary students.

Can you share the wiring diagram for this? I'd love to implement it on our bot.

nothing will go wrong at competition
nothing will go wrong at competition

son, check yourself before you wreck yourself
because the best way to know you're wrong is when you think you've got all the edges smoothed out.

do me a favor and read that in a jersey accent.

Sean, I'm so glad to see you've graduated from building your robot from wood and have gone to a much more industrial look.

Funny, looks like 1648's practice electronics board. you took our ideas, didn't you? :ahh:

Can't wait to see your finished robot (and maybe be on the same alliance with you guys at P'tree :) )

Thank you for reminding us all that the internet is not always a serious place.

No installed battery... I take it you've found a way to get inductive power from the field!

I don't think you understand how much it pains me to not have any wood this year

after a long day of testing we have found our talons overheat:(

Have moved t hem between the drive belts where the teeth move air and cool it. We plan to win the design innovation award this year.

Nirvash 15-02-2013 23:37

Or you could mount a fan on them :p

Have you considered face mounting to the shooter wheels and running wires co-axially somehow? This should solve the heat issue.
