Use of 107 on older Jaguars

We have a mix of new and old Jaguars. In the past, the firmware files provided a black version and a gray/brown version. Looking at the vex pro site, and the download it only provides firmware for a black jaguar

Before I brick some older Jags,
1) is this firmare valid for just the new frc labeled jags?
2) all black ones (old and new)?
3) all jaguars including the older orginal gray ones?

If the firmware isn't valid for the gray ones, what version of the firmware should be installed and where can I find it, or are the older ones not legal this year.

Thanks.

Version 107 is only valid for black jaguars. Version 101 is the latest for tan jaguars. Those are the only legal versions (see R68). The 107 black and 101 tan firmware are installed as part of the utilities update.

Just to clarify Joe's post, the version number restriction for Jaguars is only if the CAN-bus configuration is used. If the Jaguars are being controlled via PWM communications (R68-2) then there are not version number restrictions.

Thanks. And yes, we're planning on using the CAN bus - so firmware version is important.
