Can your robot pick up more then one frisbee at a time?

In the past we have had our best luck with them on the bot, for some reason drivers always manage to have more control and better accuracy hitting their marks. I know we wont win any pushing matches but in the past we drove so poorly that no defense was even needed on us. Hopefully that changes this year.

Yes only one at a time, the "cow catcher" is released from under the bot to horde them to the middle and arm drops when one is sensed and drops into loader.

Looks good! Liking the side mounted shooter. This was something that we discovered to have a number of advantages in strategy analysis, and have been suprised not to see more teams pursuing it.

How has the belt drive linear shooter been treating you? We started a prototype for one but didn't finish it because the wheeled prototype was working fine. What is your range?

I really like the floor loader on a stick. Seems like something that could be added to a lot of robots mid season, and a very neat simple design.

We are not getting anywhere near the distance that some teams are showing in videos but we have no desire to shot from that far. We are super accurate from where we need to be.

Thank you, hopefully we will be at practice field tomorrow and get a bunch of practice in before bagging up. I am excited to see what Shaker has done this year and hope to catch them at the field

Time will tell if this assessment is correct, but it's basically the same approach our team took. We believe that accuracy from near the targets will be more valuable than distance this year. We or course may be proven wrong by a brilliant shooter that hits curving threes from the protected feeder zone, but we really just stopped trying to improve our shooter when it was consistently hitting threes from our "butter" zone.

Love the look of your bot. Best of luck!

What is the reasoning for having a side mounted shooter?
